Weekly Goals - March 30, 2010

Completed my goal (and then some) for the short story this week...trying hard to finish it up before tomorrow (the end of the month). Sadly, didn't submit my piece as I'd hoped...debating between two outlets I want to send it off to.

Results for this week:

1. Over 2000 words on first draft of new story "Shell Games"
2. Not completed

And now the goals for this coming week:

1. Complete first draft of "Shell Games"
2. Submit "Collateral"
3. 1000 words on Death Brings the Victory

Submission status for the week:

Short stories:
"Collateral" (need to re-submit)
"Conventional Wisdom" (since January 10)
"Deadly Decisions" (submitted March 20)

    2,000 words. That's great. It's always so nice to finish something. I managed 11 pages last week. I was glad.

    I was really hoping to reach my (March) monthly goal of 7500 words total, though it looks like I'm going to fall about 1000 words short or so. It is good to finish...and I'll be extra-glad when I finish my latest novel.
